Waxing

How long do my hairs have to be?

About 5mm. If you have been shaving you need to let your hairs grow for 2-3 weeks. If you wax regularly you should return for waxing every 3-6 weeks depending on how quickly your hairs grow.

Can I have facial waxing with a facial?

We advise against it. Your skin is sensitive for 24 hours after waxing so it might react to a product used in your facial.

Can I have waxing and a self tanning treatment

on the same day?

No. Your skin is sensitive for about 24 hours after waxing. We recommend having any waxing treatments at least 24 hours before your tanning treatment.

Are there any side effects to waxing? 

Not usually. The area waxed is usually slightly pink immediately after the treatment but that usually subsides within a few hours. However, more sensitive areas can take longer to calm down.

Electrolysis

Can I have electrolysis on large areas like legs and bikini?

Yes but we advise against it as it will take a very long time to clear the area. Waxing is a better option.

Does my hair need to be visible to be treated with

electrolysis?

Yes, it just needs to be long enough to hold with tweezers.

Can I have hairs in a mole removed with electrolysis?

Yes with a doctor's consent letter.

Tinting

Do I need to have a 'patch test' before I have my

brows or lashes tinted for the first time?

Yes you do need a patch test, at least 24 hours before your appointment time.

Hands and Feet

Can I have a manicure if I bite my nails?

Yes definitely, it will probably help you to start growing them.

Can I have a manicure or pedicure if I have a nail fungus?

No, a fungus is very contagious. You need to have it treated by a doctor.

 

Facials

Can I have a facial if I'm pregnant?

Yes our facials are safe to have when you are pregnant. However, the Hydradermie Lift facials are not recommended.

Tanning

Can I have waxing at the same time as a tanning treatment?

No. Your skin is sensitive for about 24 hours after waxing. We recommend having any waxing treatments at least 24 hours before your tanning treatment.

Can I have other treatments with a tanning treatment?

Yes any combination of treatments is fine except for waxing.
